Our Lisbon office is looking for a Backend Engineer to solve juicy digital challenges at scale, share expertise with team-mates and clients alike, and work closely with Reaktor communities in Amsterdam, Helsinki, NYC and Tokyo.

As a Backend Engineer you:

Have 4+ years of professional web development experience
Write software in TypeScript, Kotlin, or whatever else fits best
Take care of both the technical and human side of projects. You can reason your idea to the client and navigate challenging situations if needed.
Know your way around relational databases such as Postgres
Are familiar with Kafka or similar message queues
Support our frontend developers from time to time
