Job Description:
- The Experience Strategy and Design team has several design leadership positions available. As a design leader at TD, you're a true expert in your field, and are comfortable in a variety of disciplines – information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and product innovation. You're a hands-on leader with deep experience in responsive design. You're a great storyteller who is at ease presenting and discussing your work with clients and stakeholders. You challenge old ways of thinking and put the customer at the center of everything you do. Design thinking and User-Centered Design methodologies are second nature to you.

Key Responsibilities: - Create innovative experiences to address unmet customer needs
- Lead and organize multiple work streams to deliver high quality experiences and deliverables
- Manage design projects, build connections, influence and inspire multidisciplinary and cross functional teams
- Responsible for concepts, prototypes and iterations of conceptual ideas
- Collaborate with research, informing objectives, methodology and recruitment specs for concept testing and attend research sessions
- Collaborate with DCX design team, and TD partners to design experiences that consider the entire ecosystem and environment
- Planning and organizing business resources (people, props and processes) to deliver best in-class experiences.
- Design and co-facilitate workshops within DCX and TD partner stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with partner business and marketing stakeholders
- Lead design reviews and critiques with partner stakeholders
- Educate business partners on the benefits of User-centered Design and Design Thinking
Job Requirements
- A degree in design or a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, human-computer interaction, etc.)
- A passion for great design and an eagerness to mentor and develop creative talent
- 7-10 years of design experience
- Experience in designing responsive secure websites and/or native apps
- Strong knowledge of product and service design
- Ability to articulate design approaches and rationales to colleagues and stakeholders
- Knowledge of agile methodologies is an asset
- Willingness to collaborate
- Self-motivated, organized, and accountable
- Conceptual ideation and visualization skills
- Proficiency at problem solving in a collaborative environment
- Versatility and flexibility
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of conceptual and design abilities
